The food is humble food made by an absolutely amazing cook. She is very skilled at making delightful salads, quiches, sandwiches and other small bites. It's not fancy and it's not supposed to be. It's just good food for the soul made by a lovely chef owner who will wrap you in her smiles as wants you to leave satisfied. Check it out!

I visited Rhyläx CAFÈ with my computer and had a wonderful time! The place is perfect for getting some work done or just enjoying a quiet moment. I had an Americano, and it was good. The café and restroom were spotless, which added to the overall great atmosphere. The staff were extremely kind and provided excellent customer service. I felt very welcome and well taken care of. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to!

The best lunch in Basel!! I had the salmon and broccoli quiche, it was perfectly seasoned and served with a generous portion of salad, which was also very fresh. This lunch was perfectly satiating, and will leave you wanting to make it a regular lunch destination. The spinach cake is also definitely worth trying - you’ll be pleasantly surprised! The coffee is also very very good, the coffee beans are grounded fresh, which results in a smooth coffee with a good depth of flavour - I can’t wait to go back!

Relaxing atmosphere. Great for a break in between meetings or a sociable get together with friends after a stressful day at work. Tipp: Try one of the homemade Pies. :)

Hidden coffee place that offers delicious cakes and coffee. Very kind staff. Definitely a place to visit.

Excellent service, great coffee with the posibility to have also something for lunch or desert. Clean bathroom, covered place for bikes, not that difficult to find a parking place for ur car. Somehting cozy, intimate, just perfect for a relaxing time. Perfect coffee shop for my @hunnybeebio.

As the name suggests, this is a great place for a relaxing break from the city or as a perfect meeting place before a Rhineswim. The location is a one minute walk from the Tinguely beach and there are also Wickelfisch available to buy. The building is modern and clean but also very cosy and light despite being tucked away beside the train bridge. There are lots of food options available including lunch menus and delicious looking cakes.

A little hidden, but a must stop on the way to the Tingluey Museum. The best quiches in Basel by any estimate. Just the right mix of creaminess and crunch. The cheesecake hit the spot as a shared dessert.
